Everything you need to know to get the most out of IdeateHub

Getting Started

Register

Go to the Register page and create your account. Choose your role — Entrepreneur, Mentor, or Investor.

Verify Email

Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link to activate your account.

Log In

Once verified, log in to access your dashboard.

Complete Your Profile

Go to Profile and fill in your bio, expertise, and location so others can find and connect with you.

Creating Ideas

Start the Wizard

Click "New Idea" from the dashboard or sidebar. Choose Forward Mode (start from the problem) or Reverse Mode (start from the end goal).

Fill in Each Step

The wizard guides you through 7 steps: Basic Info, Problem, Solution, Target Market, Revenue Model, Competitive Advantage, and Execution Plan.

Track Progress

Your idea's completion percentage updates automatically as you fill in more sections.

Export

From the idea view, click "Export as PDF" to download a professional business idea document.

Board View

Access the Board

Click "Board View" in the sidebar or navigation.

Drag & Drop

Drag any idea card from one column to another to update its stage — Concept, Validation, Planning, Execution, or Completed.

Click to Open

Click on any card (without dragging) to open the full idea view.

Collaboration

Invite Collaborators

From an idea's page, click "Invite Collaborator". Enter their email address — they don't need an account yet.

They Receive an Email

The invitee gets an email with Accept and Decline buttons. The invitation is valid for 7 days.

Manage Collaborators

From the invite page you can see pending invitations, cancel them, or remove existing collaborators.

Mentorship

Find a Mentor

Go to Mentorship from the navigation. Browse available mentors by expertise and availability.

Send a Request

Click "Request Mentorship" on any mentor's card. You can attach a specific idea and write a personal message.

Mentors Respond

Mentors can accept or decline your request. You'll receive an in-app notification when they respond.

Incubation Programs

Browse Programs

Go to Incubation from the navigation to see available programs with deadlines and funding amounts.

Apply

Click "Apply Now" on any program or go to the Apply tab. Fill in your business details, pitch summary, and market opportunity.

Track Status

Check "My Applications" to see the status of your applications — Submitted, Under Review, Shortlisted, Accepted, or Rejected.

Forum & Groups

Forum

Go to Forum to browse and post discussion threads. Choose a category like Funding, Marketing, or Technology.

Groups

Go to Groups to join or create community groups around specific industries or topics.

Post in Groups

Once you join a group, you can post updates, share ideas, and interact with other members.

Your Profile

Edit Profile

Click your name in the top navigation and select "My Profile". Update your bio, expertise, location, and social links.

Upload Avatar

Click the camera icon on your profile picture to upload a new photo.

Change Password

Go to the Security tab on your profile page to update your password.
